What's important when buying a Laptop or Desktop?
There are three main things to look for when buying laptop or desktop.
Processor
The faster the processor the more programs you can run. If you mainly do emails, surf the net and write a few word docs here and there then a Core i3 is all you will need. Moving into more intensive programs then you’ll need Core i5 and if you’re a gamer or graphic designer then Core i7 is what you’ll need.
RAM
This dictates how many programs you can run at the same time and the more the more complex the programs the more RAM you will need. Normally 4GB is enough but these days RAM is cheap so upgrading to 6 or 8 will pay off later.
Hard Drive
This is an easy one. The more you download or store the more hard drive you need. On laptops this can be expensive but desktops getting 500GB to 1TB should be enough.
